Suellen is the co-director of the Phoenix Academy, an independent, coeducational, elementary school for children in Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 8. The school incorporates Original Play into the curriculum to develop each student's full potential in an atmosphere of loving kindness. Suellen has taught special needs children from ages birth to eighteen. She coordinates annual Original Play training opportunities in southern Connecticut, which involves both her family and the Phoenix Academy.
